Ozark Health has a great Food Service Department. They play such an important role in keeping our community healthy with the foods that they serve.
Ozark Health’s Food Service Department is made up of 21 staff who have over 60 years of experience-just at Ozark Health. On average, they served almost 15,000 meals to resident, patients, staff and the community. They follow CMS/OLTC to make sure all food that is served is up to compliance standards.
Throughout the year, many conferences are attended to make sure that Ozark Health is keeping up with the times. A few of the conferences are Food Service Directors conference in New Orleans, ANSP Regional Conference in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
Ozark Health’s Food Service Department not only serves residents, patients and staff, but they also cater many events, both internal and external. They are always available to serve at luncheons in the community, special banquets that are held on campus, along with serving at the monthly board meetings and various in services.
The cafeteria at Ozark Health is open 7 days a week. Breakfast is served from 6:30-10:00, Lunch is served from 10:30-2:00, and Dinner is served from 4:30-6:30. There are a variety of meals to choose from, along with a grab and go and a fully stocked salad bar.
