November 11-17

Ozark Health has a great Home Health team. They play such an important role in keeping our community healthy!

Ozark Health’s Home Health department is made up of 24 staff who have over 280 years of experience. They are licensed to serve Van Buren County. The patients that they see vary in age newborn to elderly.

The Home Health staff is made up of 11 RN’s, 6 LPN’s, 4 Home Health Aides and 3 Clerical staff.

Ozark Health’s Home Health department specializes in Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatric and Alzheimer’s/Dementia. Many times, the RN’s and LPS’s help patients with assessments and instructions on diseases and care. They also help patients with wound care, IV’s and catheter care. They become teachers and they educate the patients on the medicines they are taking and the disease process. They also help with activities, and ensure the safety of the patients.

Home Health also offers services such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy through Ozark Health’s therapy program.

With so many years of experience, and all of the wonderful things the Home Health department is involved in, it is easy to see why they are loved by the entire community. Ozark Health is proud to work alongside such caring people who want the best for the patients that they serve.

Let’s do our best to make sure they know how much we all appreciate them.
